Apple Cider Vinager

I mentioned a couple posts ago about my friend ashley's wedding. Well me and my sister audrey and ashley as well all wanted to be tan for the pictures! Of course! So audy has been tanning for a couple weeks now, and is friggin dark, ashley has gone a couple times and is pretty brown nothing like audy. So i needed to get dark fast so all of us went to get spray tans. They always tell you to tan before you get the spray tan, it makes it look better. So that is precisley what me and audy did. EXCEPT there were new lights put into the bed...BIG PROBLEM....we both also chose not to cover our faces....ANOTHER BIG PROBLEM!!! So, i already have pretty dark skin naturally so i rarely rarely get burned. Well my friends.... me and audy GOT FRIED!!! Especially on our faces!!! and to make it better we both went to get the spray tan after, before we knew we were burned. So lets add this up ...bed with new lights + spray tan = oompa loompa!!! WTF. So with that in mind! we both exfoliated ourselves to death and ended up looking quite nice for the wedding. But only thanks to apple cider vinager!!! We all stayed in a hotel the night before the wedding and pretty much drenched ourselves with this stuff!!! And it totally worked. We went from tomatos to yummy browness!!! So if you ever get fried and need a quick fix for your redness... get a pretty warm to hot wash cloth and drench it in apple cider vinager for as long as you can. Keep in mind it stings your eyes. It has the same effect on your eyes as cutting an onion does. So beware!!!

Happily Ever After <3

So this past Saturday (September 19, 2009) my best friend Ashley Bret Mcquivey (aka my sister)go married to the love of her life. And oh let me tell you when i saw her walking down the isle, i teared up. I have never had my breath taken away by beauty. It was quite the experience. The whole ceremony was really just beautiful. Apart from the preacher having a friggin lisp, it was perfect! The whole night was a party, seeing old friends, reminissing, and laughing. It was amazing! I just havent been able to quit thinking about ashy and how much i love her, and how it really hit me at the ceremony that after all these years of being so close, i understand now how much she means to me. She literally took mine and everyones breath away with her beauty and poise. I will post pictures and you will know exactly what i am talking about! i promise! anyways hope you all have a beautiful monday. today is the first day you can feel fall in the air!!! yay!!!

Furture refrence for all therapists that want a job at a spa. Don't let it be the Primrose Retreat! It's a beautiful spa, but the owner is the worst employer i have ever been hired by. THE WORST!!! can i make it any clearer. She is so unfriendly and rude. I was going to be quitting there this weekend, but got "let go" aka the owner for some reason didnt like me. I was actually really happy, but oh well. ha. I dont mean to sound conceded or anything but i have never not been liked, by an employer and i have had a lot of jobs. Im an extremely hard worker and pretty friendly i think, but this lady is crazy. Even my school said that i should probably not work there. I mean that means a lot when a huge massage school known around the U.S. says dont work there the owner is terrible. Anyways i have never been fired before so that was a first but i dont even consider it being fired, ha. anyways, have a great thrusday!!!

Stress Control

This week is going to be INSANE!!! My best friend Ashley is getting married on Saturday!! Yay finally. I am so excited the wedding is going to be gorgeous!!! But how about we add on what else is going on this week starting with monday (yesterday). Monday- Me and Nic spent ALL weekend studing and doing homework. I had a presentation that i had to do on monday and it had to last a half an hour. which pretty much feels like forever!!! I also had 2 english reports due as well as a technical report due with my presentation. WTF MAN! Nic had, biology, chemisty, english, and philosophy homework that he need to finish as well. So Monday night consisted of me and nic going to school, turning in all our homework and coming home around 8ish. I made dinner and we were off to bed. Tuesday- Nic has school again tonight, I am trying to do my homework at work today so i can help my ashy do her favors tonight. Then on wednesday nic and i have school again, with another english report due, and a baby paper for psychology. Thursday- Nic has school once again, i work then go get shoes for my bridesmaid dress (i hope i find some) then go get a spay tan, then drive back up to slc to pick nic up from school. Friday- Bring nic to school in the morning and wait for him to get done. Drive home and meet ash and aud at the mall to get our mani pedis. Then drive draper from there to check into our hotel for the night, and go to eat. come back to the hotel and sleeeeepppp. The SATURDAY!!! wake up at 6 get ready, be in lindon by 10 set up for the ceremony, finish getting ready at audys house! then drive back to lindon for the ceremony by 3, then the rest of that wedding stuff, stay and clean up. SUNDAY!!! Finish our homework that is due the next day, and go to omis for dinner!!! Well hope you all have a nice week!!!!! love you!

HORRAY!!!

My hubby just called me to tell me some big news!!!! HE got the JOB!!! He has been wanting this job for sometime now and he got it! I'm so stinkin proud of him!!! I love you baby!!! muah

It's Here.....Finally

So now that summer has come to a close, this only means ONE thing.........FALL IS HERE!!! I love me some hot weather, with ice cream, swimming and summer nights, but i must say nothing compares to the cool fresh crisp air of FALL. Especially in Utah with the mountains and watching how the leaves turn colors, its just beautiful. And better yet Fall Cleaning! I love taking the whole house apart and scrubbing down and washing everything, putting away summer decor and exchanging it for those beautiful auburn, brown, and yellow colors that instanly warm up the house. I love putting out my pumpkin cinnamon spice scentsy and having the house smell of autumn!. My parents always did fall cleaning and all of this when we were growing up, so i guess its kind of tradition, but man oh man do i get excited, even nic is excited to clean and get ready. The only downfall of fall is that it leads into winter which i completly hate. mew. Anyways im going to get started on my fall cleaning list. HAPPY TUESDAY!!!

The Time Has Come

It's SEPTEMBER!!!!!
This means i can start cooking pumpkin bread!!!mmmm! one of my most favorite memories that i always think of this time of year, is when i would come home from school and my mom had cinnamon and apples cooking on the stove and the whole house would be spotless and all the windows were open for the fresh cool air. And the best smell ever would be coming through the window as i walked up the driveway. She would have the pumpkin bread baking in the oven and coffee brewing. And she always plays the same tape every year around this time. it's called autum in new england , its a piano tape. i love it. and i would walk in and she would be pouring the coffee and cutting the bread for all of us to eat and drink coffee with. oh how i miss those days. I even remember the feeling i would get coming into the house to her doing this. i love her! muah mommy. and i love my pumpkin bread. :) Happy Baking!
