Should I or Shouldn't I???

So i have been having some minor health problems that could lead into big ones if i am not careful. I have extremely high cholesterol for my age, and i need to lose some weight as well. I realize that this is a big deal, and i am going to try really hard to change my lifestyle to become more healthy. Diabetes and heart disease run very strong thought both sides of my family, so i am at even higher risk to develop those at a younger age. So pretty much i'm horrified. So after a lot of research and reading, i am going vegetarian. The health benefits alone are a good enough reason to do it. Not to mention that i really am discusted by the way animals are treated and killed. So stating this week i will be a vegetarian. I am also starting to jog a couple times a week and on the days i dont i would love to start doing yoga again. This sounds so easy to say but i know it's going to be so hard for me. Cause anyone who knows me knows i love my prime rib rare and i love cheese and butter, and steak, chicken, fish, all of it. yummy. But i know in the long run i will not regret my decision. Let me know what you think, advice, recipies, anything!

  2. I just want you to know that I am so proud of you. You see wrong doing, and your doing something to stop it. It takes alot for someone to be that bold, that brave, that beautiful. If you need anything ( recipes, books, help, kind words) call me =)
