Awe RELIEF! For Now!
So we went and did nics EEG yesterday. That is where they monitor brainwaves while he sleeps. Everything looked perfect. From what i was watching it looks awesome. We will be getting a call in the next couple days from the dr. to see how it looks to her. We have had no more seizures since the second one so that has been good. I REALLY think that it was the amoxocillian, and i think the dr. knows that too. But i would rather be safe than sorry. We went and got him a physical after his EEG and that dr. said he was in amazing shape and he thinks the same as us about the amoxocillan. Aside from soreness and some aches and pains here and there he looks really good, and his poor little wisom teeth that he had taken out hurt him lots, i feel so bad, they kept reopening when he would seize because of how hard he was biting down and he has a nice scar on his tounge that he took off too. Oh, and they did some blood work on him so we will find anything odd. So this all makes me feel a lot better. Just wanted to update you all on that story.

GAH!!! Long Long Post
About a year and a half ago my husband had a really really bad sinus infection,so the doctor perscribed him a decongestiant(spelling) and amoxicillian. So a couple days after we went to the doctor nic had a full on gran mal seziure in bed at 2 in the morning. We rushed him to the hospital and we went for months it seems, to the neurologist for mri, ct scans, eeg, blood work, all of these tests, and then he just didnt have anymore seizures, only the one. So a year and a half later here we are healthy as a horse. Nic goes in to get his wisdom teeth taken out and after you get that done they give you lortab and amoxicillian. So a couple days ago, i wake up to my husband Screaming and not like a normal theme park scream but like the scream you do when your in extreme pain. Well he started doing this around 4 in the morning, and then started full on seizing. I dont know if any of you have ever had someone have a seizure in front of you, but for me it is totally horrifing. Especially because he is my husband, my best friend, my......everything. Anyways i call the ambulance because his whole body turned completley white and was not responding at all. The fire dept is only like 30 seconds down the street from us (praise the lord) and got there in just a couple min from when i called. His vitals were all low and he was taking to long to respond so we brought him the the er. We get setteled in nic gets oxygen and all fixed up so he is fine, just really weak and tired from everything, not to mention the nice chunk he took out of his tounge during the seizure and his poor wisdom teeth were not helping. So the ER doctor on staff that night came in, introduced himself and we went over all of nics history and then about 15 min later the doc walks in and says we did the ct scan of his head and everything looks perfect there is nothing wrong, but i have a really strong feeling that nic is allergic to amoxicillian and one of the side effects of that is seizures. WTF. seriously, i was so excited that we had a reason why this was happening to him, but horrified at the same time. So we check out and go home to rest with the comfort in knowing this will never happen again. WRONG this morning i work up at 1:45ish to my huband grunting and convulsing. i call 911 the peremedics come and swipe amonia under his nose and his eyes are open his vitals are fine, so they tell me to just let him go to sleep and just call the neurologist in the morning. ok. well all the peremedics leave and i go and sit on the bed with nic and he is going in and out of sleep, for all of you that dont know about seizures they are like having your body run a marathon then go home and work out all day. its extremely exhausting and painful. So he keeps looking at me kinda funny and is really scared to go back to sleep. Everytime this has happened nic has little or no memory of anything that happened. An hour after they left i put nic into a bath to help with his low back and he gets out after and comes up to me and the whole time since his seizure had no idea that i was his wife. no idea.
I have never been through something like this, and more than being physically draining im emotionally drained seeing him have to go through that and it makes my heart break for him. So after we looked online and, low and behold nic overdosed on his antibiotic medicne or so we think. so we have him completely off of everything he was taking. So hopefully this means that we will have no more sezires....ever. So this week we have some meetings and appt with the neurologist and hopfully everything turns out fine and my baby will never ever have to go through this again.

Lemon Bath Salts
I found this idea on the internet. I love taking epsom baths with euclyptus spearmint. it makes my whole house smell like it. anyways im gonna try this out. i will let you know how it goes!
Lemon Scented Bath Salts
1 cup of Epsom Salts
1/2 teaspoon Lemon Oil
2 or 3 drops of yellow food coloring
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stirring well to distribute the color and fragrance. Set aside overnight. Stir again and pour into a decorative jar. Makes one cup.
For a layered look, divide the epsom salts into two bowls. Add 1/4 teaspoon lemon oil to each bowl. Add 2 drops of lemon food coloring to one of the bowls. Stir each bowl thoroughly to distribute the color and scent, set aside overnight, then layer the two colors in a jar.
To use, add one or two tablespoons to warm bath water.

Creative Arts
A couple weeks ago my and my sisters Audrey, and Ashley all had craft night. Its something we do every once in awhile. I love it. We did these wall hangings. They are just a canvas ($5 at wal-mart) and got some pretty scrapbook paper from roberts (.50-$1.00 a sheet) and some modge podge ($3.00) which is the most amazing thing on earth, i use it alllll the time. and you just modge podge the paper on the canvas real thick, let dry over night and tada you have beautiful wall art. its a lot of fun, easy, and cheap, and the good thing about it is you can match it so easy to your house or however you want. Try it!

Pretty-ness
Anyone that knows my mommy knows that she has beautiful gardens all around there house. And everytime i leave i have to make it a point to go and cut the flowers so i can bring them home with me. Anyways, when i was walking through there yard on the 4th of july on one side of the house she had these gorgeous flowers that were yellow and purple. Never had a thought before how gorgeous those colors are together. Now those are probably my favorite colors to coordinate. Anywho. love ya!
